My parents had Appaloosas when I was a child and we've had them ever since. I now
have Paints, Quarter Horses, Appaloosas and a Morgan. I stand four stallions and
have a few broodmare's for my breeding program. In between breeding mares, and
working on our 80 acre hobby beef and hog farm. I train a few horses and give
lessons on occasion.
I am also the 4-H leader of the Stanwood Pioneers 4-H club, President of the
Mecosta County 4-H Horse Program, District 8 Chairman for MIHA, Coach of the
Ferris State Equestrian Team, Assistant coach of the Morley-Stanwood High School
Equestrian Team, and Coach of the Morley-Stanwood JR High Equestrian Team.
I enjoy working with children and working with there horses to help them to better
improve themselves.
